"Two individuals (husband and wife) were approaching the event area where JCR team members were gathered. I greeted them and asked if they were there for the River Revival. They said they were coming through to see what was going on. So, I shared with them what we were doing there. I then proceeded to share the gospel with them and asked a few questions related to the hope they have for eternal life. The lady and her husband knew of Jesus and had been to church in past, but said they were only hopeful they would be in heaven. As I shared what the bible says in Romans 8:16 that when we become saved the Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are born again. And that salvation in Christ is a free gift, that whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. I asked if they wanted to pray and receive Jesus as their Lord and they joyfully accepted. We prayed together and following this I asked the couple if there was anything else that I could pray with them for, if they had any sickness or bodily pain. The lady told me she had been battling with severe epilepsy. I shared with her Gods promise to not only save her but heal her body and we prayed the name of Jesus over her for complete healing."
